POSITIONS
Present - Artistic Director, Midtwenties Theatre Society; April 2017 - Present
In charge and oversees all theatre productions. Tasks include reading, writing, and editing scripts, holding & arranging auditions, casting and rehearsals, working with the managing director & all other positions in the nonprofit, coordinating productions, networking and fundraising, hiring, managing, and evaluating every team member and ensuring that every production is a success.
2020 - Assistant Producer, Touchstone Theatre; Jan 2020 – May 2020
Reports directly to the Managing Director and Business and Communications Manager as a support hand in successfully executing Touchstone's 2019-20 production needs & preparing the 2020-21 Season. Tasks include artist contracting, budgeting, grant writing, fundraising, as well as patron engagement and access to productions.
2019 - Guest Support Coordinator, Vancouver International Film Festival; Aug 2019 – Oct 2019
Provided additional language and cultural support to Guests. This included recruiting and training volunteer interpreters/translators to assist Guests at their various Festival commitments, including Q&A sessions at screenings and media interviews. Also acted as a liaison between international Guests who require language support and other VIFF departments such as Venues, Exhibitions, and Tech.
2019 - Raffle & Distribution Coordinator, Vancouver Fringe Festival; July 2019 - Oct 2019
Worked this position as part of the Communications & Marketing team for the 2019 festival as well. Duties and services included coordinating the annual raffle fundraiser (one of the fringe festival's primary forms of fundraising efforts), training and supervising volunteers, and liaising between a variety of stakeholders and relevant sponsors.
